Özil is a GUNNER! (and a RUN-DMC fan!)
With no fixtures on the slate last weekend due to international break, the Barclays English Premier League (@premierleague) enters its fourth gameweek today.
And what a day it shall be as star Arsenal (@Arsenal) acquisition, Mesut Özil (@MesutOzil1088), will be making his debut in the Gunners XI.
The assist machine was almost ruled out today, as an illness seems to be going around the Emirates that is specifically targeting Germans.
Unfortunately for Per Mertesacker (@per_mertesacker), he was unable to escape the wrath of the phlegm and won’t be fit to make the squad.
This means we’ll see Bacary Sagna (@Sagnaofficial) at centre-back and wearing the captain’s band.
I actually think Sagna is better suited through the middle, as he seems to be more effective there than he is out wide these days.
His crosses leave a lot to be desired coming in from the right side ever since returning from his most recent leg break.
Also of note, Cazorla (@19SCazorla) is absent today with an official explanation having yet to arrive.
Hopefully, it is only a minor ailment, although I do worry the arrival of Özil may have pushed Santi down the pecking order somewhat.
A real shame considering he was Arsenal‘s best player last season but a bit of a logjam exists now in regards to creative midfielders.
Either way, three points are a must today versus Sunderland (@SAFCofficial).

As you can see, I couldn’t resist passing on Özil in either game, despite the injury doubt. Thankfully it worked for me.
However, I had to sacrifice Walcott in the official game to make that move which I fear may bite me in the ass. I can see Theo having a big match today.
In the Yahoo! game, I still haven’t budged on RVP (@Persie_Official). Luckily for me, he scored on a penalty just prior to the end of the first half.
You would figure if he were unable to score against Palace (@Official_CPFC), it could point towards big trouble this year.
However, they should be able to run wild for the remainder today, as the penalty award also came with a red card, putting the Eagles down to 10 men.
To be honest, United (@ManUtd) do not look great to me at this point in the campaign. They have work to do.
I assumed Moyes would be starting the Fro (@fellainiM) given their familiarity with one another but Felli only made the bench to start.
He was warming a little prior to half-time so I would expect him to feature at some point.
Have I mentioned how much I hated seeing him move to Old Trafford?
The Belgian was previously my favourite non-Gunner.
Now he is simply Man U scum.
Speaking of which, Wayne Rooney is on the pitch today wearing something that looks like a cross between a LeBron James headband and some shit Scott Steiner used to wear.
Shrek needs to protect those expensive hairplugs
And shout out to Robbie Brady – the Irishman is this week’s darkhorse!
